Alexander works across a range of artforms — Filmmaking, Conceptual Art, Textile & Fashion Design, Interior & Architectural Design — creating films, artworks, projects, and brands.

In his roles as filmmaker, artist, designer, and founder, Olch often focuses on a favorite theme — the relationship between time and memory — exploring ideas of originality, narrative experience, and love.

His works are held in the permanent collection of The Museum Of Modern Art, have premiered at Lincoln Center, The New York Film Festival, Film Forum, HBO, his designs have been stocked at stores such as Bergdorf Goodman, colette Paris, and Isetan Japan. He is a member of The Council of Fashion Designers of America, is the founder of Metrograph and Alexander Olch New York.
